Barbeque Pineapple

As the summer quickly approaches, I'm sure a lot of you are scrambling to find good recipes. Look no further... Barbeque Pineapple!! This tasty dish can be served as a desert or a side to an entrée. 



  • 1 Fresh pineapple
  • 1/4 cup of rum
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves


  1.  Peel the pineapple and, leaving it whole, cut the core out. Slice into 8 rings, and place them in a shallow glass dish or resealable bag. Then in a bowl, mix the rum, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, & cloves. Once mixed pour over pineapple, cover, and put in fridge for at least an hour, or overnight.
  2. Preheat grill for high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  3. Proceed to grill the pineapple for 15 minutes, flipping outside is dry and char marked. Use the rest of the marinade as a side sauce
  4. Enjoy!!
